"I'm an INFJ and I've been feeling like life is so hard lately. I'm struggling to make sense of things and it's become overwhelming. Does anyone else feel the same? Can you relate? I'm looking for advice from other INFJs on how to make life easier.

INFJs, or Introverted Intuitive Feeling Judging personalities, are a rare type of individual that often struggle in life due to their sensitive nature and the fact that they are often misunderstood. INFJs are known for being deep thinkers and possess a strong sense of intuition, which can make them appear mysterious to others. They are also highly compassionate and caring, which can make it difficult for them to stand up for themselves or take risks.

The Price of Empathy

One of the most difficult things for INFJs to deal with is their heightened sense of empathy. This often leads to an inability to remain neutral in conflict and can make it difficult for them to remain detached and objective. This can lead to difficulty in making decisions and taking action, as INFJs tend to consider the feelings of everyone involved.

The Struggle to Connect

INFJs often struggle to make meaningful connections with others, partly due to their introverted nature. They can become overwhelmed by too much social interaction, making it difficult for them to form meaningful relationships. This can lead to feelings of isolation and loneliness, which can be difficult to cope with.

The Need for Balance

INFJs need to find a balance between being open and honest with others, while also protecting their own feelings and needs. This can be especially difficult for INFJs, as they often struggle to express their true feelings and needs. As a result, INFJs may often find themselves in situations where they are unable to voice their opinions and feelings, which can lead to frustration and a sense of being misunderstood.

The Challenge of Change

INFJs are naturally resistant to change, and may find it difficult to accept new ideas or ways of thinking. This can make them seem stubborn or inflexible, and can lead to difficulty adapting to new situations or environments. INFJs also need a great deal of alone time to process their thoughts and feelings, and can become overwhelmed if they are constantly surrounded by other people.

The Search for Meaning

INFJs are often looking for meaning and purpose in life, which can be a difficult journey for them. They may struggle to find their place in the world, and may feel unfulfilled or unappreciated. This can lead to feelings of depression and anxiety, which can be difficult to cope with.

Overall, life can be hard for INFJs due to their sensitive nature, difficulty connecting with others, need for balance, resistance to change, and search for meaning. However, INFJs can also be incredibly insightful and creative, and they possess a great capacity for empathy and understanding. With the right support and understanding, INFJs can thrive and lead fulfilling lives.
