I'm interested in learning more about which blood type is considered rare. I understand there are a few different blood types, but am wondering which are the rarest. AB negative is the rarest blood type in the world, and it is estimated that only 0.6 percent of the population has it. It is also the only blood type that cannot be replicated by combining other blood types. People with AB negative blood type can only receive blood from other AB negative donors.

Other Rare Blood Types
