Help! I recently heard about AIHA and I'm wondering what antibody has been found in AIHA? I did some research but couldn't find an answer. Does anyone here know what antibody has been found in AIHA? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm so curious to learn more about AIHA and the antibody related to it.

AIHA, or autoimmune hemolytic anemia, is an autoimmune disorder in which the body's immune system produces antibodies that attack its own red blood cells. The most common antibody found in AIHA is the IgG autoantibody, which is an antibody that binds to red blood cells and results in their destruction. Other autoantibodies can also be present, such as IgA, IgM, and IgE. In some cases, AIHA can be caused by a combination of autoantibodies, which can make diagnosis and treatment more difficult.
