I'm having trouble understanding where in the back pancreatic pain is felt. I'm experiencing pain in my upper back and it might be related to my pancreas, but I'm not sure. Has anyone else experienced this? Could someone please explain where in the back pancreatic pain is typically felt, and what it feels like? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Pancreatic Pain:

Pancreatic pain is a type of abdominal pain that is caused by inflammation or other problems with the pancreas. The pancreas is a large organ located behind the stomach and is responsible for producing digestive enzymes and hormones. Pancreatic pain can be felt in the upper part of the abdomen, in the back, or in both areas.

Upper Abdominal Pain

Pancreatic pain is typically felt in the upper abdomen near the rib cage. It can be a dull ache, sharp pain, or burning sensation. It may also be accompanied by nausea, vomiting, or fever.

Back Pain

Pancreatic pain can also be felt in the back. It typically starts in the middle of the back and radiates to the sides. It can also be accompanied by shortness of breath or a feeling of pressure in the chest. It may be worse when lying down or when taking deep breaths.

Treatment

Treatment for pancreatic pain depends on the underlying cause. Treatment options may include medications, lifestyle changes, or surgery. It is important to talk to your doctor about the best treatment option for you.
