Hey everyone,

I'm looking for some help with understanding agoraphobia. What type of mental disorder is it? I know it's an anxiety disorder, but I'm not sure what it really means. Does anyone have any experience with agoraphobia or know what type of mental disorder it is? Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.

This fear can lead to avoiding public places altogether and experiencing significant distress when faced with the possibility of leaving the perceived safety of the home.
