High Fever Signs
A high fever in a child can be indicated by a temperature higher than 38 degrees Celsius. In addition to this, a child with a high fever may also experience other symptoms, such as flushed skin, sweating, shivering, headache, stomach ache, and feeling weak and tired.
When to Seek Medical Help
Parents should seek medical help if their child has a fever above 38 degrees Celsius. In addition, if the fever does not improve after 24 hours, or if the child experiences symptoms such as a rash, convulsions, or difficulty breathing, parents should seek medical help immediately.
