What kind of cough is pneumonia

Hello everyone,

I'm hoping someone can help me out with this question. I'm curious to know what kind of cough is associated with pneumonia. I've never had pneumonia before, but I know someone who has and their cough sounded really bad. Is it a dry cough, a wet cough, or something else? Are there any other symptoms associated with pneumonia that I should look out for?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Pneumonia is a serious infection of the lungs that can produce a variety of symptoms, including a cough. The type of cough associated with pneumonia is typically a deep, chesty cough that produces discolored mucus, or phlegm. This type of cough is usually accompanied by other symptoms such as fever, chills, chest pain, and shortness of breath. In cases of severe pneumonia, a person may experience difficulty breathing, extreme fatigue, and confusion. It is important to seek medical attention if any of these symptoms are present.
