Hello everyone,

I am hoping to get some help understanding a medical condition called general asphyxia. I understand that it affects the body by reducing the amount of oxygen, but I'm not sure what it is or what causes it. Could anyone here help me out by explaining it in more detail, and what the symptoms and treatment options are? Any information would be much appreciated.

General asphyxia is a medical condition that occurs when the body is deprived of oxygen. It can occur in a variety of ways, including strangulation, drowning, or smothering. Lack of oxygen to the brain can cause loss of consciousness, seizures, and even death. Symptoms of general asphyxia can include difficulty breathing, dizziness, confusion, and loss of consciousness. It is important to seek medical attention immediately if someone is experiencing these symptoms. Treatment typically involves administering oxygen to restore oxygen levels to the body.
