What is a mild asphyxia score

I'm looking for some help understanding what a mild asphyxia score is. I know that asphyxia is a medical condition that can lead to brain damage, but I'm not sure what a mild asphyxia score means. Does anyone have any experience or information on this topic? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Mild asphyxia score is a measure of the degree of oxygen deprivation that a newborn baby has experienced before or during birth. It is calculated based on a combination of factors such as the baby's heart rate and breathing rate, and the level of acidity in the baby's blood. A mild asphyxia score of less than four is considered normal and indicates that the baby has not experienced any oxygen deprivation. A score higher than four indicates that the baby has experienced some degree of oxygen deprivation and requires immediate medical attention.
