Hey everyone,

I'm new to this forum and I'm hoping someone can help me with my question. I'm doing some research on yellow fever and I'm wondering what countries have had yellow fever cases. I understand that it's mostly concentrated in tropical and subtropical areas, but I'm looking for more specific information. Do any of you have any insight or resources I can look at to answer my question? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In Africa, countries in the West African region are particularly affected by yellow fever, including Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo.

In Central and South America, countries affected by yellow fever include Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, and Venezuela.

In addition to these countries, yellow fever is also found in some parts of Asia, such as India, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

The number of countries affected by yellow fever is growing as the disease spreads to new areas where the Aedes aegypti mosquito is present. It is important to remember that yellow fever is a preventable illness and can be prevented through vaccination. Vaccination is especially important for travelers to affected countries.
