Symptoms of Stage 1 Kidney Disease

Stage 1 kidney disease is the early stage of kidney damage, and can be caused by a variety of different causes. Since the kidneys are responsible for filtering waste and toxins from the blood, when they become damaged, these toxins can build up in the body, leading to a variety of symptoms.

Proteinuria is one of the most common symptoms of stage 1 kidney disease. This is when the kidneys are unable to filter protein from the blood, causing it to leak into the urine. This can cause foamy, bubbly, or bloody urine.

High Blood Pressure is another common symptom of stage 1 kidney disease. This is because the kidneys are unable to effectively filter out toxins from the blood, which can cause the blood pressure to rise.

Fatigue is another symptom of stage 1 kidney disease. This is because the body is unable to rid itself of toxins, which can cause a feeling of overall fatigue and exhaustion.

Itching is another symptom of stage 1 kidney disease. This is because the buildup of toxins in the body can cause the skin to become itchy and irritated.

Nausea and Vomiting are also common symptoms of stage 1 kidney disease. This is because the toxins that are not being filtered out of the body can cause nausea and vomiting.

Swelling is another symptom of stage 1 kidney disease. This is because the buildup of toxins in the body can cause fluid to accumulate in the body, leading to swelling in the ankles, feet, and hands.

If you experience any of these symptoms, it is important to see a doctor to get a proper diagnosis and treatment. Stage 1 kidney disease is an early stage of kidney damage, and can often be treated successfully if caught early enough.

Stage 1 kidney disease is generally asymptomatic, meaning there are usually no symptoms. However, there are certain signs that can indicate early kidney disease, such as fatigue, decreased urine output, increased need to urinate at night, difficulty concentrating, and puffiness around the eyes. Additionally, laboratory tests such as a urine analysis or a blood test can detect the presence of proteins in the urine, which are an indication of kidney damage. If any of these symptoms or laboratory tests are present, it is important to seek medical attention as soon as possible.

Stage 1 kidney disease is typically asymptomatic, meaning that there are usually no immediate signs or symptoms. However, some people may experience changes in the amount of urine they produce, fatigue, swollen ankles or feet, and a decreased appetite. Other symptoms include dry and itchy skin, difficulty sleeping, nausea, frequent urination, and pain in the side or lower back.
