3. Accommodation
Accommodation is a process of making adjustments to the environment and lifestyle in order to manage symptoms of psychosis. This can include changes to diet, exercise, and sleep habits; avoiding substance use; learning and practicing relaxation techniques; and seeking professional help.
4. Advocacy
Advocacy is the act of speaking out on behalf of oneself or another person who is experiencing psychosis. Advocacy can include educating others about the illness, seeking support from family and friends, and connecting with organizations and professionals that provide resources and support.
