1. Set a consistent sleep schedule – Going to bed and waking up at the same time each day will help your body adjust to a regular sleep-wake cycle.

2. Limit caffeine and alcohol – Caffeine is a stimulant, so try to avoid drinks like coffee and energy drinks after the afternoon. Alcohol may make you drowsy, but can lead to a poor quality sleep.

3. Create a restful environment - Your bedroom should be a place for relaxation and sleep. Keep it cool, dark, and quiet.

4. Limit screen time before bed – The blue light from electronic devices can interfere with your body's natural sleep patterns.

5. Exercise regularly – Exercise during the day can help you sleep better at night.

6. Limit naps– If you are having trouble sleeping at night, limit your naps during the day.

7. Avoid large meals late at night – Eating a large meal close to bedtime can make it difficult to sleep.

8. Avoid nicotine– Nicotine is a stimulant and can make it harder to fall asleep.

9. Use relaxation techniques – Deep breathing, meditation, or yoga can help relax your mind and body before bed.

10. Seek help if needed – If you are unable to get a good night's sleep, talk to your doctor about treatment options.

5. Avoid large meals and beverages late at night - eating a heavy meal or drinking a lot of fluids close to bedtime can lead to poor sleep.

6. Don’t nap late in the day - napping too late in the day can interfere with nighttime sleep.

7. Avoid screens before bed - the blue light from screens can disrupt your body’s natural sleep rhythms.

8. Make your bedroom a sleep-friendly environment - keep your bedroom dark, cool, and quiet.
