I'm not sure if 36.9 is considered a fever for Covid and I'm looking for some help. I know that the normal temperature for a healthy person is around 98.6 Fahrenheit, but I'm not sure if that changes for Covid. Has anyone experienced a temperature of 36.9 and been tested for Covid? If so, what did the doctor say? I'd really appreciate any advice or information from anyone who has had this experience.

A fever is generally considered to be a temperature of 100.4°F (38°C) or higher. A temperature of 36.9°F (2.7°C) is not considered a fever, and could be the result of a variety of things, including a low temperature caused by a virus or infection. However, it is important to note that having a fever is one of the common symptoms of COVID-19, and if you are experiencing any other symptoms such as shortness of breath, coughing, or a headache, it is important to consult a medical professional to determine if you should be tested for the virus.

In some cases, fever can reach temperatures of up to 40°C (104°F) or higher, and should be monitored closely. Other symptoms of COVID-19 include a dry cough, difficulty breathing, tiredness, and aches and pains.

It is important to remember that a fever is just one symptom of COVID-19, and is not definitive proof of an infection. If you have a fever and any other symptoms of the virus, it is important to contact a medical professional to get tested and get the appropriate treatment. If you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, it is important to self-isolate and contact your local health authority for further guidance.
