Preparation
Before washing your hair, it's important to know your hair type and use the right products accordingly. For example, if you have dry hair, you should use a shampoo and conditioner designed for dry hair. Additionally, you should make sure your hair is completely free of knots and tangles before washing it.
Washing
When you're ready to wash your hair, start by wetting it with warm water. Then, take a quarter-sized amount of shampoo and massage it into your scalp using your fingertips. Rinse out the shampoo and then add a small amount of conditioner to the ends of your hair. Once the conditioner is evenly distributed, rinse it out with cool water.
Finishing Touch
After washing your hair, gently squeeze the excess water out of it. Then, use a microfiber towel or an old t-shirt to dry it. Avoid rubbing your hair with the towel as this can cause frizz. Finally, apply a leave-in conditioner or oil to the ends of your hair to add shine and moisture.
