There are currently nine officially recognized personality disorders, which are divided into three clusters. Cluster A includes paranoid, schizoid, and schizotypal personality disorders; Cluster B includes antisocial, borderline, histrionic, and narcissistic personality disorders; and Cluster C includes avoidant, dependent, and obsessive-compulsive personality disorders. Additionally, there are other, less common personality disorders that are not officially recognized.

These include: paranoid, schizoid, schizotypal, antisocial, borderline, histrionic, narcissistic, avoidant, dependent, and obsessive-compulsive personality disorder. Each disorder is characterized by a particular set of symptoms and behaviors that can significantly impair an individual's social, occupational, or other important areas of functioning. It is important to note that these disorders are quite complex and can often be difficult to diagnose. Furthermore, many individuals may have a combination of traits from different personality disorders, which can make diagnosis complicated.
