I'm new to this forum and I need some help. I'm trying to find out how many disciples Jesus had. I know there were twelve, but I'm wondering if there were more. Does anyone know the answer to this question? I'd really appreciate any help or resources that could help me find the answer.

Jesus Christ had twelve primary disciples, also known as the twelve apostles. These were the people he chose to be his closest followers and to spread the message of the gospel.

The Twelve Apostles

The twelve apostles were Simon Peter, Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, Simon the Zealot, Judas Iscariot, and Judas the brother of James. These men were chosen by Jesus to form the foundation of his church. They were also the first to be sent out to preach the Gospel and to bring the message of salvation to the world.

The Disciples After Jesus' Ascension

After Jesus' ascension, the apostles continued to preach and spread the gospel. They eventually added more people to their ranks. These people were known as the seventy disciples. They were sent out to spread the gospel all over the world and to spread the message of Jesus Christ.

The Disciples Today

Today, the message of Jesus continues to be spread all over the world. Christians around the world are considered to be disciples of Jesus Christ. They are the ones who strive to live their lives according to the teachings of Jesus and to spread the gospel to others.

Jesus is said to have 12 main disciples, who followed him throughout his teachings. These disciples are also known as the apostles, and are listed as Peter, Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew, James son of Alphaeus, Simon the Zealot, Judas Iscariot, and Judas son of James. Jesus also had other followers and students, so the exact number of disciples is unknown.

Jesus had twelve disciples, also known as the Twelve Apostles. These were the closest followers of Jesus, selected to be his companions and to receive his teachings. The names of the twelve disciples are Simon Peter, Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, Thaddeus, Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot. Judas Iscariot was the only disciple to betray Jesus, and he was replaced by Matthias after Jesus' death.

The twelve disciples are important figures in the Bible, as they are believed to have been chosen by Jesus to form the foundation of the Christian Church. They remain an important part of Christianity today, and are often looked to as an example of faith and devotion to Jesus.

Jesus had twelve disciples, including Simon Peter, Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot. He also had a group of women followers, including Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Susanna, and several unnamed women, who were a part of his inner circle.
