I'm hoping someone can help me out. I recently purchased some chicken meat from my local store and I'm wondering how long it will last before it goes bad. I've heard that it usually lasts a few days in the fridge, but I'm not sure how long it will stay good for if I freeze it. Does anyone have any advice on how long chicken meat will last? Any help would be appreciated.

The shelf life of chicken meat depends on a few factors, such as whether the chicken is raw or cooked, how it is stored, and how quickly it is consumed. Generally, raw chicken can last 1-2 days in the refrigerator, or up to 6 months in the freezer. Cooked chicken can last 3-4 days in the refrigerator, or up to 4 months in the freezer. To maximize the shelf life of chicken, store it in airtight containers and consume it as soon as possible.
