Hi everyone,

I'm new here and I'm looking for some help. I recently heard that teeth can get cancer, and I'm wondering if this is true or not. Has anyone here experienced this or know someone who has? Can you provide some information on what types of teeth cancer there are and what the symptoms are? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

No, teeth cannot get cancer. Teeth are made of minerals and do not contain living cells, which are necessary for cancer to form. However, the tissue around teeth, such as the gums, can be affected by oral cancer. This is why it is important to visit your dentist regularly, as they can detect any signs of cancer in these areas. Additionally, teeth can be damaged by radiation therapy, which is sometimes used to treat cancer, so it is important to take care of your teeth before, during, and after treatments.
