Why is my skin so itchy at night

I'm having a really hard time trying to figure out why my skin is so itchy at night. I'm sure it's not an allergy or anything like that because I don't experience this during the day. Does anyone else have this problem? Has anyone found a solution? I'd really appreciate any advice or tips anyone can give me. I'm so frustrated and I just want to be able to sleep peacefully at night.
