I'm looking for some help understanding why leukemia leads to anemia. Does anyone have any information they can share about this? I'm not sure if I'm missing something, but from what I've read, it seems that leukemia can cause the body to produce too many immature red blood cells, which can lead to anemia. Is this correct? If not, what is the connection between leukemia and anemia? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
