The Zebur is an ancient Hebrew text that is recognized as the sacred scripture of the faith of Judaism. It is considered to be one of the most important religious texts in Jewish tradition and contains a variety of hymns, prayers, and laws. The Zebur is composed of three distinct sections: the Torah, the Nevi'im, and the Ketuvim. The Torah is the first five books of the Bible, often referred to as the Pentateuch. The Nevi'im consists of seven books that are known as the Prophets, while the Ketuvim includes eleven books that are referred to as the Writings. All together, the Zebur comprises the entirety of the Jewish scriptures.

The Zebur is believed to be the sacred scripture of the Sabians, an ancient religious community that flourished in the Middle East before the rise of Islam. The Zebur is an Arabic term meaning "Book of Praise," and is believed to be a collection of ancient hymns, prayers, and poems of praise and devotion to God. It is also thought to contain stories of prophets and other influential figures in Sabian beliefs. Although the exact contents of the Zebur are unknown, it is believed to be the source of some of the Quranic verses.
