Which is worse amylase or lipase

I'm having trouble understanding the difference between amylase and lipase and which one might be worse. I know that they are both enzymes but what is the difference between them and how do they affect the body? Does one have more of a negative impact than the other? Can anyone help me understand the difference and which one is worse? Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.

Amylase and lipase are both digestive enzymes that are produced in the pancreas and play an important role in the digestion of carbohydrates and fats. While both enzymes are essential for proper digestion, lipase is typically considered to be more important and more powerful than amylase.

Subtitle: Benefits of Lipase

Lipase is responsible for breaking down triglycerides and fats into fatty acids and glycerol, which are then absorbed into the bloodstream. This process is essential for proper absorption of the fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K. Lipase also helps in the absorption of fat-soluble minerals such as calcium and phosphorus, and promotes proper digestion and absorption of fats and carbohydrates.

Subtitle: Benefits of Amylase

Amylase is responsible for breaking down complex carbohydrates and starches into simple sugars, which are then absorbed into the bloodstream. This process is important for providing the body with energy and helping to maintain a healthy blood sugar level. Amylase also helps to break down dietary fiber, which is important for improving digestion and absorption of nutrients.

Subtitle: Comparison

The relative importance of amylase and lipase can vary depending on the individual’s dietary needs. Generally speaking, lipase is considered to be more important and more powerful than amylase, as it plays an integral role in the digestion and absorption of fats and fat-soluble vitamins and minerals. On the other hand, amylase is important for providing the body with energy and helping to maintain a healthy blood sugar level.
