I'm trying to understand the differences between INTP and INTJ personalities and which is generally considered smarter. I'm particularly interested in the cognitive functions of each type and how they might affect intelligence. Can anyone help me out? I'd be really grateful for any advice or resources anyone might have on this topic.

INTP vs. INTJ:
Subtitle Forum
INTP stands for Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, and Perceiving. It is one of the 16 personality types identified by the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). People with this type of personality are often analytical, independent, and creative thinkers. They are also often open-minded, logical, and innovative.

INTJ stands for Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, and Judging. It is another one of the 16 personality types identified by the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). People with this type of personality are often independent, analytical, and self-confident. They are also often logical, organized, and ambitious.

Which is Smarter?

It is difficult to definitively say which type is smarter, as intelligence is subjective and individual. However, INTJs are generally seen as more focused and analytical thinkers, while INTPs tend to be more creative and open-minded. INTJs are also more likely to be organized and goal-oriented, while INTPs may be more spontaneous and flexible. Ultimately, both types are capable of great intellectual feats, and both types can be very successful in their own unique ways.
