Which enzyme is most specific for diagnosing pancreatitis

I'm looking for help to understand which enzyme is most specific for diagnosing pancreatitis. I've heard that amylase and lipase enzymes are used to diagnose pancreatitis, but I'm not sure which one is the most specific. Can anyone here help me understand the differences between these enzymes and why one might be better than the other for diagnosing pancreatitis? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Subtitle: Amylase

Amylase is the most specific enzyme for diagnosing pancreatitis. It is an enzyme produced by the pancreas that helps to break down carbohydrates and starches. Elevated levels of amylase in the blood or urine can indicate a pancreatic disorder, such as pancreatitis. The presence of amylase is the most reliable indicator for diagnosing pancreatitis. Other enzymes may be present, but amylase is the most specific indicator.
