I'm looking for help finding resources for clients and their loved ones living in Ontario who are having difficulty understanding a condition. Does anyone know of any helpful websites, books, or other resources that can be used to better understand this condition? I'm looking for resources that are specific to Ontario if possible. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

For resources to support those living with a condition in Ontario, it is beneficial to start by exploring the provincial government website. The website outlines a variety of resources for those in need of support, such as support services, financial assistance, and education. Additionally, it is beneficial to contact a local mental health clinic or doctor to get a better understanding of the condition and to find out what services and support are available in the area. Other helpful resources include connecting with support groups or online forums that provide information and support for those living with the condition. Finally, many organizations in Ontario provide resources that are tailored to the individual’s needs, from housing assistance to counselling.

One great resource is the Ontario Brain Injury Association (OBIA). They provide a range of support services for those with brain injuries, and their loved ones, including educational resources, peer support, advocacy, and more. They also have a network of local chapters throughout Ontario.
