What's psychopaths

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I'm hoping someone can help me out. I'm trying to understand what a psychopath is and I'm not sure where to start. Is there anyone on here who can explain the basics of a psychopath to me? If so, I'd really appreciate it. I'm hoping to gain a better understanding of the condition and any advice you have would be much appreciated.

Psychopathy is a mental disorder that is characterized by a lack of empathy and remorse, shallow emotions, and a tendency to be callous, manipulative, and deceitful. It is estimated that 1% of the population falls into this category, and is more common in males than females. People with this disorder often have a dramatic sense of grandiosity, and may engage in risky behavior, such as drug or alcohol use, or criminal activity. People with psychopathy often have difficulty forming meaningful relationships and often lack remorse for their actions.
