Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum and I'm hoping someone can help me with a question I have about GORD. What type of pain is associated with GORD? Is it a dull ache or more of a burning sensation? Are there any other types of symptoms associated with it?

I'm looking to learn more about this condition and any advice or information would be greatly appreciated. If anyone has any experience with GORD or knows about it, I would love to hear from you.

GORD (Gastro-Oesophageal Reflux Disease) is a type of pain that is caused by acid reflux. It is characterised by a burning sensation in the chest, known as heartburn, which can be felt behind the breastbone. It can also be accompanied by a sour taste in the mouth, a sore throat, and difficulty swallowing. GORD can be triggered by certain foods, drinks, or activities. Treatment options include lifestyle changes, medications, and in some cases, surgery.

GORD stands for Gastro-Oesophageal Reflux Disease, and is a condition in which stomach acid flows back up into the oesophagus. This can cause pain in the chest and throat, and can be accompanied by a burning sensation and difficulty swallowing. It can also cause nausea, vomiting, bad breath and a sour or acidic taste in the mouth. Treatment options include lifestyle changes, medications to reduce stomach acid, and in more severe cases, surgery.
