What type of hemolysis is AIHA

I'm hoping someone here can help me out with a medical question. I'm trying to understand what type of hemolysis is associated with AIHA (Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia). Can anyone explain what kind of hemolytic process is involved in this condition? I know AIHA is caused by an autoimmune reaction, but I'm not sure what type of hemolysis is involved.

AIHA (Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia) is a type of hemolysis in which the body's immune system mistakenly attacks and destroys healthy red blood cells. This causes a decrease in red blood cells, which can lead to severe anemia. Symptoms of AIHA can include fatigue, shortness of breath, jaundice, and dark urine. Treatment for AIHA usually involves immunosuppressant medications, such as corticosteroids, or immunoglobulin therapy. In some cases, a blood transfusion may be necessary.
