Hello, everyone. I'm new to this forum and I have a question about CML anemia that I hope someone can help me with. Is anyone familiar with this type of anemia? What type of anemia is CML? Is it common? What are the symptoms and treatments associated with CML anemia? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

CML, or chronic myeloid leukemia, is a type of anemia that is caused by a problem with the production of red blood cells. It is a type of cancer of the blood and bone marrow. The body produces too many immature white blood cells, which crowd out the healthy red blood cells. This causes anemia, which is a condition in which the body has fewer red blood cells than it needs. Symptoms of CML anemia may include fatigue, shortness of breath, pale skin, and headaches. Treatment for CML anemia typically involves medications to reduce the number of white blood cells and increase the production of healthy red blood cells.
