I am having trouble understanding what triggers acid reflux for me. I've been trying to figure it out and make changes to my diet and lifestyle to help reduce the symptoms, but I'm still having trouble. Does anyone else have experience with this? What lifestyle changes have you made that have helped reduce acid reflux? Are there any foods or drinks that you have found to be triggers? I would really appreciate any advice or experiences that anyone can share.

Q: What food should I avoid if I have acid reflux?

It is recommended to avoid acidic foods such as citrus fruits, tomatoes, spicy foods, fried foods, and processed foods. Caffeinated and carbonated beverages should also be avoided as these can irritate the stomach and make acid reflux worse. Additionally, certain foods can contribute to acid reflux symptoms, such as chocolate, garlic, onions, and mint. It is also important to avoid large meals and eating late at night as this can trigger acid reflux. Finally, it is important to keep a food diary to help you identify any foods that may be triggering your acid reflux.
