I'm looking for some help and advice about a medical issue. I need to know what test is used to detect HDN (Hemolytic Disease of the Newborn). Does anyone have any experience with this test or HDN? I'd really appreciate any information you could provide. I'm a little worried about the results of the test and would like to understand more about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The test used to detect HDN (Hereditary Hemolytic Disease of the Newborn) is called a Coombs Test. This test is done by taking a sample of the newborn's blood and testing it for antibodies that may be attacking red blood cells. If antibodies are found in the baby's blood, it is a sign that the baby has the condition. A Coombs test can also be used to diagnose other autoimmune disorders.
