Hello everyone,

I'm looking for help on a question I have about mental illness and loners. I'm wondering if there is a specific mental illness that could be associated with a loner? I'm interested to learn more about this, so if anyone has any information, advice, or experience with this topic, I would really appreciate it.

Mental illness is not necessarily associated with being a loner. However, some mental illnesses, such as depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) can lead to feelings of isolation, which can result in a loner lifestyle. Other mental illnesses, such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and borderline personality disorder, can also lead to a loner lifestyle, as people may be reluctant to interact with others due to the symptoms of their illness. It is important to note that being a loner does not necessarily mean that someone has a mental illness, as many people prefer to spend time alone without experiencing any mental health issues.
