What medication helps pancreatitis

I'm looking for some help understanding what medications can help treat pancreatitis. I have read about some of the treatments, but I'm not sure which would be the most effective. Does anyone have any experience with this? What medications have you used or heard about that have been beneficial? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Medications for Pancreatitis

The most common medications prescribed for pancreatitis are pain relievers, antacids, and antibiotics. Pain relievers such as acetaminophen and ibuprofen can help reduce pain and inflammation. Antacids, such as ranitidine, can help reduce the amount of acid in the stomach, which can help reduce symptoms of pancreatitis. Antibiotics, such as amoxicillin, may be prescribed to help reduce infection. Additionally, pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy may be used to help the body digest food and absorb nutrients properly. Your doctor may also recommend lifestyle changes to help manage pancreatitis, such as avoiding alcohol and smoking.
