I'm hoping to get some help from the forum about autoimmune hemolytic anemia. I'm curious to know what lab findings are associated with this condition. Does anyone have any experience with this? What kind of tests should I be expecting? What were the results like for you? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Cevap: Autoimmune hemolytic anemia is a type of anemia that is caused by the body's own immune system attacking and destroying red blood cells. Lab findings that may indicate autoimmune hemolytic anemia include low hemoglobin and hematocrit levels, increased reticulocyte count, a positive direct antiglobulin test (DAT), and an increased indirect bilirubin level.
