Hi everyone, I'm looking for help understanding the second-line of therapy for patients with autoimmune hemolytic anemy. I'm not sure what it entails or if there are any alternatives. If anyone has experience with this type of treatment or knows of any resources with more information, I would really appreciate it. Any advice or insight would be really helpful.

It is recommended to use corticosteroids as first-line therapy for autoimmune hemolytic anemia. If this treatment is not effective, other therapies such as splenectomy, immunosuppressants, IVIG, or monoclonal antibodies may be used as second-line treatments.
