The gold standard for AIHA is an international standard of excellence for laboratory diagnosis of autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA). It is a set of criteria that laboratories must meet to be considered accurate and reliable for AIHA diagnostics. The gold standard includes parameters such as haematological and biochemical tests, immunological assays, and autoantibody testing. Additionally, AIHA laboratories must maintain a quality assurance program to ensure accurate and reliable results.
