Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone can help me out. I'm trying to figure out what the first test for chronic pancreatitis is, and I'm not sure where to start. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge on this topic? What's the first step I should take to find out more information about this condition? Any advice or guidance would be much appreciated.

The first test for chronic pancreatitis is an abdominal ultrasound. This imaging test uses sound waves to create pictures of your pancreas. Your doctor will look for signs of inflammation or changes in the size or shape of your pancreas. Other tests that may be used to diagnose chronic pancreatitis include blood tests to measure your levels of pancreatic enzymes and CT scans to get detailed images of your pancreas.
