I'm looking for help understanding the first-line treatment for allergic rhinitis. I'm currently experiencing symptoms of runny nose, itchy eyes, and sneezing, and I'm wondering what the best way to treat these symptoms is. Is there a preferred first-line treatment option for allergic rhinitis? What medications are available? Are there any home remedies or lifestyle changes I should consider? Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.

The first-line treatment for allergic rhinitis is avoidance of the allergen, if possible, and pharmacologic therapy. Medications such as antihistamines, nasal corticosteroids, decongestants, and leukotriene modifiers can be used to control symptoms.
