Hello everyone! I'm new to this forum and I'm hoping for some help. I recently heard about a medical condition called AIHA, and I'm interested in learning more about it. Does anyone here know what the classification of AIHA is? I'm looking for more information on the subject, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

AIHA stands for "Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia". It is an autoimmune disorder in which the body's own immune system mistakenly attacks and destroys red blood cells, leading to anemia. AIHA is classified according to the type of antibody involved in the destruction of red blood cells. The two main types of AIHA are warm autoimmune hemolytic anemia (WAIHA) and cold autoimmune hemolytic anemia (CAIHA). Both types of AIHA can be further classified as primary or secondary.
