ALD stands for Atomic Layer Deposition. It is a thin film deposition technique used in the semiconductor industry. Atomic Layer Deposition is a deposition process that uses gaseous precursors to deposit thin films of material one layer at a time. ALD is a very precise and controllable process that can be used to deposit very thin films of materials on a variety of surfaces. The process has the ability to deposit materials with extremely uniform thicknesses and excellent conformality. ALD is used in a variety of applications including the fabrication of semiconductor devices, sensors, and biomedical devices.

ALD stands for "alcohol-related liver disease." It is a progressive health condition caused by excessive drinking over a long period of time. It can lead to inflammation of the liver, cirrhosis, and, in extreme cases, liver failure. Symptoms of ALD can include jaundice, fatigue, nausea, abdominal pain, swelling, and weight loss. Treatment for ALD typically includes abstaining from alcohol, medications to reduce inflammation and symptoms, and, in some cases, a liver transplant.

ALD stands for Alcohol-related Liver Disease. It is a serious condition caused by drinking alcohol in excess that can lead to irreversible damage of the liver. Symptoms include yellowing of the skin and eyes (jaundice), abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and fatigue. It can be treated with abstention from alcohol, and, in severe cases, a liver transplant may be necessary. Early detection and treatment can help prevent further damage and improve the prognosis.
