Hello everyone,
I'm hoping to get some help from other forum users about the 1st line therapy for autoimmune hemolytic anemia. I was recently diagnosed with this condition and I'm still trying to learn more about it. I was told the 1st line of therapy for this condition is medication. What kind of medications are typically used for this condition? Are there any lifestyle changes or other treatments that I should be aware of? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Cevap: The first line of treatment for autoimmune hemolytic anemia is usually corticosteroids, such as prednisone. Other treatments may include immunosuppressants, such as cyclophosphamide and azathioprine, and intravenous immunoglobulin therapy. In some cases, plasma exchange therapy may also be used.
