Hi everyone,

I'm new to psychology and I'm trying to learn more about neuroticism. I was wondering if anyone could help me out? What is neuroticism, and what are some of the key characteristics associated with it? Is there anything else I need to know about it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Neuroticism is one of the five core personality traits used to measure psychological health. It is used to describe people who experience strong negative emotions such as anxiety, depression, fear, and anger. It is also used to describe individuals who are prone to worry, are self-critical, and experience frequent mood swings. Neuroticism is often seen as the opposite of emotional stability and resilience. People who score high on neuroticism are more likely to experience mental health issues such as depression and anxiety.
