Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum and I'm looking for some help. I recently heard about a condition called adhesive capsulitis, but I was wondering if there was another name for it? Does anyone know what it might be called?

I'm hoping to learn more about this condition, so if anyone can provide any information or resources that would be great. I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance and I look forward to hearing back.

Adhesive capsulitis is commonly referred to as 'frozen shoulder'. This is due to the stiffness and reduced range of motion that is associated with the condition. Adhesive capsulitis is a condition which affects the shoulder joint, causing the shoulder to become stiff and painful. Treatment is necessary to regain full range of motion and reduce pain. Treatment may include physical therapy, medication, injections, and occasionally, surgery.

Adhesive capsulitis is also commonly known as frozen shoulder. This condition occurs when the shoulder joint becomes inflamed and stiff, making it difficult to move and causing pain. The exact cause of this condition is unknown but it often occurs in conjunction with other medical issues, such as diabetes or a shoulder injury. Treatment usually involves physical therapy, anti-inflammatory medications, and in some cases, a corticosteroid injection. Surgery may be recommended in extreme cases.

Adhesive capsulitis, also known as frozen shoulder, is a condition characterized by pain and restricted motion in the shoulder joint. It typically begins with pain in the shoulder joint, followed by a decrease in movement. The shoulder joint becomes stiff and the range of motion is significantly reduced. Adhesive capsulitis can affect both men and women, but it is more common in women. It is also more common in people over the age of 40. The cause of frozen shoulder is not fully understood, but it may be related to an injury or a medical condition such as diabetes. Treatment typically involves physical therapy, medications, and in some cases, surgery.
