"Hi everyone, I'm new here and I'm looking for some help. I'm trying to understand what compression asphyxia is and what an example of it would be. Can anyone explain it to me and provide an example? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Compression asphyxia is a type of asphyxia (inability to breathe) caused by a physical force pressing on the chest. Examples of compression asphyxia include strangulation, chest compression, being buried alive, and being caught between two heavy objects.
