Hey everyone,

I'm looking for some advice from other forum users about what an example of antisocial behavior in psychology is. I'm trying to get a better understanding of what antisocial behavior is and what it looks like in practice. Can anyone help me out? Any advice or examples would be greatly appreciated.

Antisocial behavior, in psychology, is behavior that deviates from societal norms and expectations. It can range from minor infractions such as cutting class to more serious crimes such as vandalism or even murder. Common examples of antisocial behavior include:

Aggression and Violence
Aggression and violence are two of the most common forms of antisocial behavior. This includes physical violence, such as punching, kicking, or hitting, as well as verbal violence, such as name-calling, insults, threats, or intimidation.

Lying and Cheating
Lying and cheating are also common examples of antisocial behavior. Lying is manipulating the truth in order to deceive someone, while cheating is attempting to gain an advantage over someone else by using dishonest means.

Theft and Vandalism
Theft and vandalism are destructive forms of antisocial behavior. Theft involves taking something that does not belong to you without permission, while vandalism is the intentional destruction of property.

Substance Abuse
Substance abuse is using drugs or alcohol in a way that can be harmful to oneself or others. This includes the misuse of prescription drugs, as well as the use of illegal drugs.
