Hi everyone,

I'm hoping to get some help in understanding what acute hemolytic is. I've heard of it before, but I'm not sure what it is. Can someone please explain it to me, or provide some helpful resources? Any help would be much appreciated.

Acute hemolytic is a type of anemia that is caused by a rapid destruction of red blood cells (RBCs). It can be caused by a variety of factors, including infections, medications, and autoimmune diseases. The symptoms of acute hemolytic anemia can vary depending on the cause, but often include shortness of breath, fatigue, and yellowish skin and eyes (jaundice). Treatment depends on the underlying cause, but may include antibiotics, medications to suppress the immune system, or a blood transfusion.
