Can someone please help me understand what a lesion in a cystic structure is? I'm a bit confused and would really appreciate any insight into this topic. I know there are different types of cystic structures, but I don't know what a lesion in one of them would be. What does it look like and how does it affect the structure? Is it always a sign of something serious or can it sometimes be harmless? I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me out here.

A lesion in a cystic structure is a type of abnormal growth or tissue damage. It can be caused by a variety of factors, including infection, inflammation, trauma, or cancer. Lesions can range in size from a few millimeters to several centimeters. Lesions can appear as bumps, blisters, or ulcers on the skin, or they can be found inside organs such as the lungs, liver, or kidneys. Lesions in a cystic structure may be filled with fluid and surrounded by other cysts. Treatment of a lesion in a cystic structure depends on the cause and type of lesion. Treatment may include antibiotics, surgery, radiation, or other therapies.
