Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum and could really use some help. I'm wondering what a basic cancer is and how it differs from other types of cancer? Is it something that can be prevented, or is it something that can only be treated after it has been diagnosed? Could someone please explain the basics of this type of cancer to me? I'd really appreciate it.

Cancer is a group of diseases caused by abnormal cell growth. When cells in the body grow and divide abnormally, they can form tumors and invade nearby tissues, leading to serious complications and often death. Cancer can affect any part of the body and is classified by the type of cell and where it originated. The four major types of cancer are carcinoma, sarcoma, leukemia, and lymphoma.
