What does the pancreas release when fasting

I'm hoping someone can help me with my question about the pancreas. Does anyone know what the pancreas releases when a person is fasting? I've heard about insulin being released during meals, but I'm not sure what's released during fasting. Is it just a lower amount of insulin, or does something else happen? I'm interested to learn more about the pancreas and what it does during fasting.

The pancreas is an important organ in the body that produces hormones and digestive enzymes. When fasting, the pancreas releases a hormone called glucagon, which helps the body burn stored fat for energy. Glucagon signals the liver to break down stored glycogen (sugar stored in the liver) into glucose, which can then be used by the body as an energy source. Glucagon also helps to reduce the levels of insulin in the body, which helps to reduce blood sugar levels.
